We are excited to be part of this summer’s KCCK-sponsored Jazz Under the Stars series.

Special feature; the opening act this night will be a new person on the Cedar Rapids jazz scene: 13 year-old Grant Lapointe. Come early so you don’t miss him.
Outdoor performances have been an important part of the jazz scene for many years. For a couple of hours out under the sky music makes its own community. KCCK is doing something really valuable in carrying on that tradition here in Cedar Rapids.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase on site. Attendees can also bring lawn chairs, blankets and their own picnic if they wish.
